Really need advice...guys....girls, too, i guess...?

I'm in college. I like this guy but I've never met him before, I've only seen him around (we have had large and small classes together in the past, but have no mutual friends).


I only see him when walking to class or when he is eating lunch with a friend. How in the world can I start a casual conversation with this amazingly cute, smart, funny guy? Nothing obvious like going up to him out of nowhere and asking him out--I'm too shy for that :(





Oh and I'm graduating in 2 months so this has to happen, and soon! lolReally need advice...guys....girls, too, i guess...?
Well if you don't look at the option of just going up to him and asking him to be your ';friend';, you can....








1. Drop your books ';by accident';, while he is passing and then see if he helps you pick it up (while you are bending down to pick it up of course).





2. If he doesn't help you pick it up, it's okay





3. If he does help you pick it up, go ';thanks';, look up and put on a ';Don't I know you from somewhere?'; face. Proceed in asking the ';Don't I know you from somewhere?'; question.





4. If he says ';yes'; you are in luck...





5. If he says ';no, I don't think so';, you can go


a. OH okay, and walk away


b. or ';no no, You look really familiar. I know you were in this study thing with me once!';





6. Hopefully you can carry on the convo from there.
