Advice please guys..!?

im thirteen years old. nearly. :P and, all i want to do is perform. i'm so passionare and determined about making something of myself. i've done a few auditions. modelling. acting. and singing. my family don't exactly have alot of money and all they can afford for me right now is singing lessons. i was wondering if you guys know of any auditions coming up? i know to get an agent would help, but i just can't afford it. :( i need help! any advice, or just anything that would help i would be so grateful!

...once you started in modelling then you try to be as good as you can then who knows if someone will see you and get you as actor...

Continue to perform locally. Get involved in school and community productions even if it is to pass out programs. You want to be near the performance if you can't be in it. Seeing what is going on an letting the performers know your interest will do much for you.

I really don't know much about this kind of stuff but if your really passionate try searching on the internet for auditions. If your school has plays etc. join them and if they have a drama teacher or music teacher talk to them because they're bound to know of auditions or may have contacts that are experts in this area.

This is important. NO DECENT AGENT WOULD CHARGE YOU ANYTHING OTHER THAN A PERCENTAGE OF THE FEE FOR THE JOBS THEY GET YOU.





I don't know where you are - if you were in the UK I could give specific advice, but as far as US teen drama classes go you'd be better off watching ';Fame'; than listening to me.

You could become a member of your local amateur dramatics society.Every area has one and they do lots of singing and dancing and acting.For address go to library,or council services or search internet with your area and then ADS something should come up.Or try the local theatre for address.You'll meet lots of others with the same dream
Why dont you stick in at your studies and then enrol for drama / acting college or school. Thats the best advice I can give you. Also check and see if there are any local drama groups which are run in your area in the evenings.





Also if you say where you are from then that would help people give you more informative answers....

You are awfully young and school is pretty important, even though it may not seem like it now. Maybe you should start off by joining the Drama class/club. I'm sure if your teacher sees potential in you, he or she can help you find something suitable for you. Beware of scams on tv and online!!

Hi, I think you should stay in school and join a drama group or something, and they will pick you out if they think your really talented.


I know a girl who wanted to preform, she left school and tried at preforming, but she hasn'tt doneanythinggspectacularr yet, and has has ruined her education, so unless she does get on well she kinda messed up.


Also, and I'm trying to say this astactfull as possible, but yet bluntly, whileI'mm sure you are very talented you have to find out how good you are (which is why joining a drama group might be helpful) , you might not be as good as you think, I have another friend story, well more of aacquaintancece, She thinks she is very talented at singing, shisn'tnt, she is the kind of person that their parents or someone tells thethey rere great but tharen'tnt.


So in short don't give up on your dream but dont give up on school either. Join a drama club are something, (there are prob clubs out there that you don't have to pay for.) to learn and get an honest opinion of your talent and potientional, and of course have fun. Hope this wont upset you though
