be yourself and don't try and act cooler than the upperclassmen, most are nice but if you go around all uppity not even your own classmates are gonna like you.


be yourself, in middle school every-ones clique-y in high school you can just be yourself. just be smart and don't let anyone make you do anything you don't want to do.


high school is supposed to be the best 4 years of your life so don't let anyone ruin it for you!

Im gonna be a senior this year and im outtaa thisss schoooll!!! college baby!
well in my highschool, this was pretty stupid but alot of people did it. There was a initation process we had to go through with the senior class...those who were in involved anyway. once you went through the process then the seniors were your friends and you wouldnt have a problem with anyone picking on you or they would even often get you into parties and stuff like that. when we did the initation they took us and blind folded us and pour honey on us and then feathered us and left us on the mountan with no way to get home....and well there was a lot more to it then what i am just telling you. so yeah i went through it and look back on it as if i did do it i wouldnt have survived high school cause i was a really bad nerd and this way i had tons of friends and alot of them are still my friends today.....but I dont suggest you do this.....just be yourself...and dont be really lound and annoying otherwise your going to get put in a garbage can...that happened to my friend....
People are gonna try to get you to have sex. Don't do it, its better to wait for the person you love. Other than that, hang out with people who won't do drugs/smoke/drink. Join clubs that you are interested in and date people. Do your best in your classes and you'll be fine. Try to stay away from drama, upper classmen will think you are a stupid freshman.
advice on what?
last year was my freshman year and i basically screwed it all up....so my advice to you:


don't get involved with anyone you barely know, especially in the very begginning of the year...too hard to adjust to a new relationship, school, AND lifestyle at the same time





stay on top of your school work, when you get behind teachers most likely let you make up things you were there for...no matter what circumstances





choose the right people to hang out with, not the stoners or idiots





don't have sex unless its with someone you love and know you won't regret it later....people will pressure you, just don't let it bother you





know where your classes are! and what the teachers respond to





DO try and be a teacher's favorite...people may make fun of you for it but you'll be the one laughing when you get to retake a test you screwed up on and they don't





and finally RELAX..try not to get stressed, no matter how frustrating things are

Don't try to act like you're cooler than the older kids. That is a common problem amongst freshman, just because you're finally in high school does not mean you're suddenly ';cool';.
Try to be the first freshman in your class that's popular!!
well... use your map!!!!!!! getting lost on the first day is soooo embarrassing. also, bring at least one folder to put stuff in. teachers loooovvveee syllibi. just concentrate on not screwing up on the first day and everything will be fine.
RELAX!!! honestly, im a sophomore and my freshman summer i was really nervous about it all but its fine.


you'll feel really overwhelmed the first few days, but then you get over it. and high school is really different from jr high because not


everyone is judging you and you don't have to be either friends or enemies with every single person. mostly people don't care. they let you do your thing and they do theirs.





also, don't be afraid of the upperclassmen. they're nice, really.





when you're choosing an outfit, simply make sure that its cute and that YOU like it and it'll work. also make sure you don't wake up late.lol.
