Advice! guys confuse me sometimes..?

so, theres this guy that i've liked for basically the whole year..


i found out yesterday that he was planning on asking out this other girl (cassie), but then when he found out i liked him.. he stopped his plan to ask her out. so, he asks for my number and we text very often.





about a month ago my best friend had a b-day party at a local dive and they invited ';him';. so i was sorta excited but a part of me didn't want him to go to the party cause i know it would be awkward cause we dont really talk because we only have one class together. my best friends decided to pair up in some of the games and left me to be ';his'; parter in everything, ie: sitting by him and racing cars and whatever...


i hear that he felt uncomfortable at the party.. but SO DID I!


now, he thinks it was MY idea to pair up with him, and that its MY FAULT that he was uncomfortable. (at least thats what i hear from his best friend)





now, he is trying to get that girl in the beginning again (cassie).. and idk. he COMPLETELY avoids me in person.. but still texts me like nothings wrong. when i talk to him in person, it gets really awkward.. and when i text him asking about ';our'; relationship, he completely dodges the question.!








IDK what to do.


i still like him, but i know he might not like me because he's under the wrong impression that i did something i didn't do.





i wanted to take it slow with him and get to know him better before we hung out like that. and idk, i tryed... but it backfired...

First of all clear the all the misconcepts that he is having about you. Then you can think about your relationship to move further on.

i say give it some time. yes it was a bad move to meet him before you really got to know him. specially infront of your friends. because that is ackward. considering he might not know em much.but i say keep txtn him.and pretnd nothing is wrong dont bring up anything to the conversation bout ';us'; cus that tends to scare guys off. give him a call once in a while but dont talk to him for that long either. just call to say hi here and there. so he could get use to getting calls from u. once he gets use to you two talkn on the phone, start inviting to little events here and there say'; oh i heard about this one place at.... would u like to go..';etc . then you cld strt bringin up the conversation bout u to being together
